Natalia!

Okay so I have been a little busy and have seriously neglected this blog! I am back and want to gush about my sweet baby girl. She is amazing, and she has totally changed our lives for the better. Her brothers love her son much, and her daddy just melts with one smile. I am obsessed with every detail of her face and love to dress her up 2-3 times a day. What was our life like before her? I don't remember and don't care!

Morning Sickness!!!

I am now thirty weeks pregnant with this wiggly little girl and still experiencing morning sickness! I don't know why they call it morning sickness, because it can hit anytime, anywhere. In my case, it hits about fifteen minutes into a car ride and I begin the fun task of finding the closest public bathroom. I think I have been in just about every public bathroom in Kyle. Yesterday I found myself thinking how convenient one particular bathroom was, and began to rate the bathrooms I have used for accessibilty and convenience. I couldn't decide if this was funny or just sad. Well, eight more weeks to go and I have only gained twelve pounds, mainly because baby does not allow me to overeat ever! Can't wait to meet this demanding little girl face to face...

PTA!!

Tonight is the very important PTA meeting where we will elect new officers for the 2010-2011 school year. This will mark the first time in 4 years that I have requested not to be on the Board. With the new baby coming, Matthew's therapies, and Michael's activities, I thought it best to step down. Why was I still a little teary eyed to find that my name was not on the list of nominees? I told the nominating committee that I would serve on a committee and help wherever I am needed, but still felt slighted. Can I blame the pregnancy hormones?? I am looking forward to a great year ahead focusing on my growing family, but it's hard to let go of regular habits. Tobias Elementary is and will continue to be important to my family and to me. Maybe I can start a new PTA at Simon Middle School next year, they will need a President. LOL

Garage Sale Wheeling and Dealing

The art of garage sale shopping is definately not for the weak at heart. We decided to look for some great deals at a large community garage sale. Upon arriving, pretty early I might add, we realized we were not alone. The traffic on these normally quiet,tree lined streets was insane. We parked and attempted to find a few great deals. Iquickly realized this was alot harder than it looked. Everytime I found something someone else claimed it first or it was way overpriced. Both my mother and mother in law always seem to find great stuff, so I thought this would be easy, I was wrong. Our experience was exhausting and a little frustrating. I think I'll stick to my thrift and consignment stores from now on.

I'm Back!

Well I have been inspired to actually write on my blog! Matthew's running a high temperature and I will be heading to the doctor's office again. We were there Friday with his older brother. LOL. I honestly need my own parking space at the medical building, maybe I'll bring that up today...
